There is multiple grocery shops called Pulperias.
MATTEW mini supermarket: The one having more choices is called Mattew at the bottom of the village, it is a mini supermarket where you can enter and see all products they have.
Fruits and Vegetables are delivered on Monday/Wednesday/Friday
NEYRA: The closest option that has enough choice, above the basketball court (SPORTS KIOSKO).
FOOD TRUCKS: You need to catch them! More choices for vegetables and fruits and better prices. They pass in the village and scream over a megaphone.
RESTAURANTS / BARS / NIGHTLIFE
Pupusas : 100 meters from our hostel, they make tortillas (Corn Pankakes/Crepes) for 35-40 Cordobes (1$), there is meat or vegetable option there.
Olas Clandestinas (Beachfront): Bar / Restaurant: Open from Thursdays til Mondays. They make full fish/Meat plates and Pizzas. Prices are a bit higher than others but it’s a great quality price place! El Buen Gusto (La veronica) is a Restaurant/Bar: They organize the biggest night events of the village and transform their place as a discotheque! you won’t miss it Las Gaviotas (Lionel): It’s a bar/pub/restaurant next to El Buen Gusto: There is a music jukebox where you can play Nicaraguan, US and a little bit of other music. They also organise parties time to time. MUSIC IS PRETTY LOUD so almost impossible to speak, you’ll speak with your hands like locals after some practice! Otherwise, you’ll speak loud in the ear of your friend! It might work…

A Pupusa is a thick griddle cake or flatbread from El Salvador and Honduras, made with cornmeal or rice flour.
